Do you recall how Kim Kardashian positioned herself as a more attractive option to the thin, blonde models of the 1990s? The period has obviously passed. She made an appearance on the cover of the September issue of Interview, proudly displaying her bum thanks to a jockstrap. But, even though a picture of her butt at one point would have gone viral online, it’s not the body part that grabs everyone’s attention. Her brows, which were bleached, deserve that honor.

Something isn’t right here, aside from the obvious fact that her eyebrows aren’t white by nature. After all, she has already opted for the bleached brow trend. Yet, none of their earlier attempts at light brows were as eerie as hers for the interview. The fluffiness, I believe, is the reason. It’s challenging to understand what’s going on without Santa Claus.

Not exactly helping is the shoot’s atmosphere. Many of the images, which were arranged by interview Editor-in-Chief Mel Ottenberg, include Kardashian with blonde hair in the Farrah Fawcett style (another new update to her appearance), standing in front of an American flag while wearing jeans. It’s an all-American appearance if there ever was one, and it has a very different style from the one that first made her famous and is strongly influenced by black culture, which has led to numerous accusations of cultural appropriation against her. The “Kim K’s White Woman Age” of entrepreneurship, as described by critics on Twitter, has undoubtedly begun.
