A man was killed in a shooting on Westmoreland Road, and the Dallas Police Department is investigating the incident

Since a man was shot and killed in Dallas late on Saturday night, a homicide investigation has been opened into the incident.

A report of a shooting that occurred in the 2900 block of Westmoreland Road was received by officers of the Dallas Police Department at approximately 11:50 p.m., as revealed by the department.

When the police got at the scene, they discovered a man who had been shot and was suffering symptoms of his wound. After being transported to a nearby hospital, the man ultimately succumbed to his injuries and passed away.

An unnamed person was found to have shot the man, according to the Dallas Police Department’s detectives.

The name of the victim has not been made public, and the police agency has not disclosed any information regarding the particulars of the suspect’s description.
