After “Harry and Meghan,” Princess Kate feels “sad and deceived” by Prince Harry

Prince Harry is reportedly not friendly with his sister-in-law Meghan, while Prince William and Princess Kate are still navigating the Harry & Meghan episodes. William has no intention of telling his side of the tale or formally seeking retribution. He continues working while maintaining his composure.

Since the two used to be so close, Kate feels betrayed and saddened that Harry would act the same way toward her, the insider tells Us in the latest edition. The Prince of Wales is “a thorn in the side” of Harry and Meghan Markle’s six-part docuseries, according to a previous report from Us. William had hoped that they could get along after the CBS interview [in March 2021], but Harry airing his dirty laundry only made things worse and forced the two brothers to take a step apart.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s relationship from its origins, their wedding, her choice to resign as a senior member of the royal family, and its fallout were all chronicled in the book Harry & Meghan. Meghan, 41, brought up William and Kate for the first time as she talked about the distinctions between British and American culture. I’ve always been a hugger. Little did I know that this is really irritating for a lot of Brits. I think I started to understand very quickly that the formality of the outside is carried inside, that there’s a forward-thinking way of being, and then you close the door and you’re like, ‘Oh, okay, OK, I can relax now,” but that formality continues on both sides, and that surprised me.” The couple further recalled the racism Meghan experienced in the British media, and accused William of volunteering adviser Jason Knauf to one of the Implicated in lawsuits filed by the former actress against the Daily Mail.(William has yet to comment publicly on the situation, while the former communications secretary denied the allegations.)

The Duke of Cambridge was also mentioned as Harry, 38, addressed the strained Meetings between the brothers and their father, King Charles III, recalled about the Sussexes’ departure: “It was terrifying to have my brother yelling and yelling at me and my father r said things that just weren’t true, and my grandmother [Queen Elizabeth II] sit quietly and take it all in,” Harry said in volume two, released December 15. “Your ultimate kind of mission, goal, and responsibility is the institution.” He added that William, who is first on on the throne, will be more likely to side with The Firm. “I mean, the saddest thing about it was this wedge that created between me and my brother that now he’s siding with the asylum,” Harry explained. “I understand part of it. I understand right? This is his legacy. So it’s kind of ingrained in him that part of his responsibility is the viability and continuity of this institution.” To learn more about the royals, watch the video above and grab the new issue of Us Weekly , which is now available on newsstands.
