Violet, a successful woman who had worked hard to achieve a better life, is shocked and angered when she discovers that her new neighbors, Mexicans named Julio and another unnamed man, have bought the house in the wealthy neighborhood where she lives.
Despite her initial prejudices and assumptions, the house was indeed rented out, and the men were her new neighbors. Violet’s anger and fear keep her up at night, and she struggles to sleep, convinced that they are dangerous.
