Per reports, the 59-year-old woman, Corina, was married to her 80-year-old husband, Baines, for 38 years. Corina told investigators that she decided to pour mixture of boiling water and sugar on him while he was asleep after her daughter’s stunning confession.
In a fit of rage, the mother went on to get a bucket from her garden and boiled two kettles of water before mixing three bags of sugar in it.
The woman then went to the room in which her husband was lying asleep and hurled the boiling sugar water on top of him. While her husband began writhing in pain, she fled from the house and ran over to a neighbor’s residence. Read the full story here ▶
