The generative artificial intelligence business Pieces, which is based in Dallas, was implemented across all inpatient services at Children’s Health last month. It is possible for caregivers to use the artificial intelligence software that has been integrated into the electronic medical record for a variety of purposes, including clinical handoffs and multidisciplinary rounds. In order to generate a summary of the patient’s time spent in the healthcare system, the program makes use of the information contained in the patient’s medical record.

The Pyramids South Tower, which is owned by Big Sky Medical, was rezoned by the Dallas City Council so that medical tenants may be allowed to occupy the facility. Following the declaration of bankruptcy by Allegiance Telecom in 2003, the North Tower was rezoned to medical and is now occupied by Baylor Scot & White and the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute. Initially, the North Tower was designed for Allegiance Telecom. Now that the buildings are combined, there will be a total of 300,000 square feet of medical clinics, making it one of the largest medical complexes in the region.
