The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office participated in a community event in order to convey the spirit of Christmas.
In the mobile homes located at D Bar B Mobile Home Ranch, which is located off Dowdy Ferry Road in Dallas County, Christmas arrived one week earlier than usual.
A cheerful individual dressed in blue brought toys to the location on Tuesday afternoon.
Aieden Perales, who is only five years old, was able to ride home on a brand-new scooter of her own. At the age of 25, Rocio Perales, who is a single mother, expresses gratitude.
Having the opportunity to witness your son taking pleasure in these situations,” she stated.
The third and last Blue Santa event of the season was held on Tuesday evening, and it was held by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department.
Over the course of the month of December, the sheriff’s office made three separate visits to mobile home parks, during which they distributed presents to close to four hundred youngsters.
Over the course of this holiday season, a total of 150 families contributed some additional assistance and enjoyment.
We can all relate to the experience of having someone assist us when we are in a difficult situation. Marian Brown, the District Attorney for Dallas County, stated that “we simply enjoy coming out and seeing the expressions of the children when we come.”
Not only toys were included in the presents. A petting zoo, train rides, ringing the bell of the train, games, and a dance-off were all fun activities for children.
“This is what community policing is all about,” according to Brown.
The D Bar B Mobile Home Ranch was visited by the sheriff’s office for the very first time in the history of the property. Therefore, these children were taken aback when there were only a few days left till Christmas morning.
