In the most recent edition of the AA Hospitality Awards, the Coaching Inn Group was honoured with the title of Hotel Group of the Year for 2023-24.
The awards are presented on an annual basis in order to celebrate the top hotels, restaurants, taverns, B&Bs, and campsites located all around the nation.
This year’s celebration took place on Monday, September 25, at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London. Claudia Winkleman, a celebrity from the television show Strictly Come Dancing, served as the event’s host.
A spokesman for the awards explained the criteria for winning the Hotel Group of the Year gong as follows: “This prestigious award is bestowed upon a prominent accommodation group with a well-established history of dedicated efforts in maintaining the highest standards of service, culinary excellence, and accommodation quality throughout its diverse range of properties.” In order for them to achieve success, paying minute attention to detail is of the utmost importance, and approaching future development in a logical and consistent manner is essential. The award is being sponsored by Sky Business for the current year.
The Coaching Inn Group is responsible for operating 32 hotels and inns in market towns all throughout the UK. Some of these establishments include the White Hart Hotel in Boston and The Admiral Rodney Hotel in Horncastle.
The award was “a tribute to the enthusiastic support, hard work, and commitment” demonstrated by all of those employed in the group’s hotels and inns, as stated by the chief executive officer, Kevin Charity.
He continued by saying, “We have steadily expanded over the past few years, and we have established an enviable reputation for the role our properties play at the very heart of the communities they serve.”
“Our front of house personnel have really taken to heart our philosophy of hospitality from the heart, and they have been supported in this endeavour by their coworkers in all of the other departments.
“Over the course of the past four years, we’ve transformed into a business that places a strong emphasis on its employees and customers,” said the company’s CEO, “and it’s all thanks to the fact that we’ve made a concerted effort to preserve our company culture, continue to push ourselves towards excellence, and ask ourselves how our management team can better assist our workforce.”
An AA Inspector said as follows: “The Coaching Inn Group is an independent operator with a passion for restoring historic coaching inns to their former glory while also incorporating a few contemporary touches.” They have made considerable investments to bring many classic buildings back to life, which has provided some of the most famous market towns in the UK with a newly revitalised and inviting central point for both locals and visitors to enjoy. I’d want to offer my congratulations to Kevin Charity and the rest of the team.
