28 February, INDIANAPOLIS (UPI) — Duke Tobin, director of player personnel for the Cincinnati Bengals, stated in Indianapolis on Tuesday that the team has no intention of trading wide receiver Tee Higgins and finds the idea to be absurd.
At the Indianapolis Convention Center’s 2023 NFL scouting combine, Tobin addressed the media.

Higgins, 24, is about to enter the last year of his rookie deal. The No. 2 option for the Bengals, behind Ja’Marr Chase, the great pass catcher accumulated more than 1,000 receiving yards in each of the previous two seasons.
Because to the fact that Higgins’ contract is about to expire and Burrow and Chase need new contracts, it has been suggested that the Bengals might trade Higgins. Justin Fields, the quarterback for the Chicago Bears, recently added that it would be “great” if the Bengals receiver joined his squad.

Tee excels on the football field.”Bengals safeties Jessie Bates and Vonn Bell, cornerback Eli Apple and tight end Hayden Hurst are among the players with expiring contracts this off-season, but the franchise also is actively trying to get Burrow under a long-term pact.
Burrow, the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, is entering the final year of his rookie contract.
Chase remains under contract for at least the next two seasons.
