Corsets, cutouts, and naked dresses were prevalent at the official Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty

At the Vanity Fair afterparty in 2023, where the fashion is even more daring, celebrities had already started to arrive before the Oscars red carpet had even finished. It also implies that many of the actors who attended the ceremony choose to change their attire.

On March 12 in Beverly Hills, the yearly late-night bash, which draws almost every notable name in Hollywood, was held at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. Stars like Julia Garner, Olivia Wilde, and Rita Ora made headlines as soon as they arrived.

Garner made the perfect avant-garde fashion choice with her Off-White dress, which was completely sheer, fitted, and had a backless silhouette. Wilde, meanwhile, wore a half-dress, half-bra Gabriela Hearst ensemble that was transformed into a smoldering evening look wear with the addition of a smokey eye and bedhead waves.

Ora selected a corset ballgown by Wiederhoeft, which exposed the tops of her thighs through a skirt made up of thin strips of tulle, attached to the bodice by delicate silver grommets.

After getting married in August, she and her husband Taika Waititi made their red carpet debut at the Oscars. It was only fitting that she dress in bridal white for the event. Ora completed her look with a pair of vegan, silver strappy Piferi sandals to highlight the corset’s trim hardware.

Other notable appearances included Chrissy Teigen showcasing her new red hair in a gemstone-embellished Zuhair Murad robe with dramatic feathers, Gabrielle Union in a plunging sequined Ralph Lauren Collection design, Danielle Deadwyler in an animal-print Versace minidress, and Sienna Miller showcasing her new red hair in Fendi Couture.
