We follow the story of Jacob, a hardworking 19-year-old from Portland, Oregon, who falls in love with Naomi during the summer. Despite their connection, Naomi’s father forbids her from seeing Jacob, leaving him heartbroken. Four years later, Naomi and her husband, Greg, are struggling financially and are forced to sell their diner.
When a potential buyer enters, offering half the asking price, they reluctantly agree. Unbeknownst to Naomi, the buyer is none other than Jacob, who has become successful in the restaurant business.
