A source confirms to PEOPLE that the couple, who recently generated attention when Waterhouse was photographed adorning that finger with a diamond ring, are now engaged.

The couple made the joint announcement of their impending first child in November. The Batman actor, according to the source for PEOPLE, “can’t wait to become a father.”
“He is incredibly prepared,” a source reports. “His bond with Suki is extraordinary.” He feels extraordinarily fortunate.” According to the source, the Daisy Jones & the Six star has a “special glow” and “appears to be extremely content.”
Couple representatives have not responded to requests for comment from PEOPLE.
TMZ photographs of the couple walking around London on Monday during which Waterhouse wore a ring on her left hand prompted engagement rumors earlier this week. The couple was photographed by the publication on Monday.
The engagement was announced subsequent to Waterhouse’s pregnancy proclamation during her performance at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico last month.
She addressed her glittery pink ensemble in a video captured by a fan and uploaded to X (formerly Twitter). In the video, she stated, “I’ve chosen to be extra sparkly today in case it distracts you from something else that’s happening.”
Following this, she removed the feathery coat that had been layered over her form-fitting minidress to unveil her baby bump, which elicited applause and shouts from the audience. “I’m uncertain whether or not it’s functioning,” she added jokingly.
