Everything at once, everywhere Stephanie Hsu, Star of “Silly,” on Playing the Opposite Gosling, Ryan

For her performance in The Daniels’ Everything Everywhere All at Once, Stephanie Hsu received her first Oscar nomination, and it seems that this award season, she has been required everywhere at once.

Hsu has been accruing significant frequent flyer miles by flying back and forth from the United States to Sydney, Australia where she is currently filming a role in David Leitch’s The Fall Guy alongside Ryan Gosling, Emily Blunt, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Her appearances have included the DGA Awards, Santa Barbara International Film Festival, the Oscar nominees luncheon, the AFI Awards, the Critics Choice Awards, the Golden Globes, and most recently the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

At the DGA Awards, where she was catching a flight to Australia after presenting to the nominees Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, Hsu said to THR, “I’m almost finished. It was a lot of fun. When I was in Australia last, David and [producer Kelly McCormick] showed me a sizzle reel, and I think it’s going to be fantastic. Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt are wonderful.

She stated, “I’ve been a tremendous fan of Ryan’s since forever. “He’s obviously cut from the same type of odd cloth as him, as I’ve always felt. He’s incredibly wacky, funny, and creative.Hsu, who also recently appeared in the star-studded Peacock series Poker Face, will certainly not be slowing down post-Oscars either, with upcoming roles in comedy Joy Ride and a guest starring role in Michelle Yeoh’s American Born Chinese series.
