A source tells PEOPLE that despite her relationship with Blanco, 35, the “Single Soon” singer, age 31, is “extremely content and present.”
“At the moment, she appears to be feeling herself,” adds the Gomez insider, who has been forthright and self-assured about her ups and downs. The informant continues, “Maybe that’s Benny or maybe that’s just where she’s at personally and professionally.”
Selena Gomez seems to have confirmed her relationship with Benny Blanco, stating, “He is my absolute everything.”
As expected, “everyone is overjoyed that she is overjoyed,” the insider explains.
Individuals in Gomez’s inner circle are “protective” of the singer/actress, according to the source.
“Prior to Only Murders [in the Building], everyone admired her; but now, everyone is on guard against her. “The consensus among Selena’s cast and crew is that any boyfriend she has is an equivalent to our own,” the source further states.
Gomez and Blanco were observed savoring a date night at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening. They were seated courtside and attended the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Miami Heat game.
