Seeking his own protection from the actress, Darius Jackson has petitioned for a restraining order against Keke Palmer on the grounds of domestic violence.
The lawsuit was filed earlier this week by Jackson, 29, against the Nope actress, 30, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE.
He is requesting that Palmer maintain a 100-yard distance from him, his residence, and his vehicle, and refrain from any communication with him. Additionally, Jackson requested that the hearing be scheduled “concurrently” with the hearing for Palmer’s “existing” domestic violence restraining order petition on January 9.
Palmer was granted a provisional restraining order against Jackson and sole custody of their 9-month-old son, Leodis “Leo” Andrellton, in early November.
On November 5, Jackson allegedly “trespassed into my home” and “threatened, then physically attacked me” (she claimed he did so by lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone after I threatened to contact the police). According to Palmer, the abuse transpired over a span of two years, and it was allegedly observed by her mother and sister.
According to documents obtained by PEOPLE, Jackson responded to Palmer’s filing last week, claiming Palmer was “the primary aggressor” in their relationship.
