Just a few days ago, Lady Gaga’s sheer corset Oscars gown made its runway debut.

Lady Gaga arrived at the Oscars wearing a dress that had just walked the runway three days earlier. At Versace’s fall 2023 show on March 9, the singer and actor wore a sheer black dress that Gigi Hadid had previously modeled on the runway.

The long-sleeved dress had a corseted bodice that was see-through, had sharp cups, and visible boning. It also had a circle skirt that skimmed the floor and dropped low in the back. As Gaga walked the red carpet with musician and collaborator BloodPop, many of her tattoos—including the infrequently seen cluster of flowers on her lower back—were on view.

Gaga, who performed her Oscar-nominated single “Hold My Hand” from “Top Gun: Maverick” during the award show, styled her sultry gown with four pieces of Tiffany & Co. jewellery: an archival diamond necklace, simple stud earrings, a diamond bracelet, and a band ring with five rows of pavé diamonds. She wore her two-toned hair in a slicked-back French braid and finished her look with a bold red lip, smoky eye makeup, and a subtle light-pink manicure.

Read ahead to take an all-angles look at Gaga’s fresh-off-the-runway Oscars gown, and then catch up on what Michelle Yeoh, Angela Bassett, and more nominees wore to the ceremony.
