Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s congressional account was momentarily disabled by Twitter when the Georgia Republican tweeted a graphic after the Nashville school shooting that alluded to a “Trans Day of Vengeance.”
The features of Greene’s congressional account have been temporarily suspended for breaking Twitter rules, according to a screenshot she tweeted on her personal account on Tuesday.
“For revealing Antifa’s planning of a call for violence known as “Trans Day of Vengeance,” my congressional account was suspended for seven days. the day following a trans gunman’s mass murder of children,” she tweeted.
It appears that Greene’s post was in reference to a protest planned for Saturday in front of the Supreme Court.

To access associated media, click here. Twitter’s head of trust and safety, Ella Irwin, said she had to “sweep” the platform to remove more than 5,000 tweets and retweets of the graphic.
“We do not endorse tweets that incite violence, regardless of who posts them,” Irwin tweeted.
“’Revenge’ does not imply peaceful protest. Organizing or supporting peaceful protests is fine,” Irwin said.
