Michael Bolton Declares HIS Brain Tumor Diagnosis and “Immediate Surgery” Completed Prior to the Holidays

New year’s has arrived with a health setback for Michael Bolton.

Friday, the cherished singer informed his admirers in a heartfelt letter that he will be taking a break from the stage due to a recent brain tumor diagnosis.

“Before the holidays, it was determined that I was in need of immediate surgery due to the diagnosis of a brain tumor.” “The operation was a success due to my extraordinary medical staff,” the 70-year-old singer wrote on Facebook. “I am now recuperating at home and surrounded by the tremendous love and support of my family.”

Additionally, the Grammy winner informed his admirers that he will be “dedicating” the “next couple of months” to his recovery and suspending his touring activities “temporarily.”

Michael Bolton claims that his six grandchildren find his previous long hairstyle “extremely amusing.”

Bolton wrote, in honor of his fans’ “love and support” over the years, “It is always the most difficult thing for me to do to disappoint them or postpone a performance, but rest assured that I am diligently striving to expedite my recovery and return to the stage as soon as possible.”

“Know that your encouraging words are on my mind, and I will provide further updates in due course,” he added, concluding his letter with a signature. “Much love always, MB.”

On the basis of his album Spark of Light, which featured the heartfelt single “Beautiful World,” the celebrity discussed embracing positivity during difficult circumstances last year.
