Two companies in the Northwest have announced their intentions to expand their operations in North America.
Summize, a contract lifecycle management (CLM) software vendor based in Manchester, has launched a new office in Boston. At the same time, Sales Geek, a sales training franchisor located in Blackburn, has announced the sale of two state-wide master franchises in the states of Florida and Texas.
After reporting fresh ARR growth of 107%, Summize has formed a US subsidiary known as Summize Inc. This is the third year in a row that the company has had growth in the triple digit percentage range.
In the next twelve months, it is expected that more than forty percent of Summize’s revenue will be attributed to customers in the United States. This is because the firm is concentrating its efforts on sustaining rapid growth and developing a local presence in order to better serve the sizable addressable market in the area.
The new office will provide a scalable foundation for Summize to develop its American client portfolio, which currently includes companies such as PTC, Nsight, Miami Heat, Day Wireless, TriMark, and Avantus. The new office is located in the prestigious Seaport neighbourhood of the city.
Several members of the team have relocated across the Atlantic to establish a new base in Boston, providing career-defining chances for their colleagues in the United Kingdom. Additional local recruitment is anticipated for the later part of the year as the team grows to accommodate the expansion.
According to Tom Dunlop, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, “We have been planning our US expansion for some time, and now that we’ve established our US base, we have a real catalyst for further international growth.” We adore Boston due to the fact that it is a growing centre for technology firms, there is an abundance of talent, and it has excellent transport links to the rest of the United States as well as the United Kingdom.
“Now that we have a local presence, we’re looking forward to adding to the growing number of US logos we already have in our portfolio and expanding the same culture we’ve fostered in the UK to our new office,” they said. “We’re excited to add to the growing number of US logos we already have in our portfolio.” There is now a new CLM vendor in the Boston area.”
The expansion to the United States was always a part of the plan for Summize, and it was one of the key reasons for the Series A investment that was made the previous year, according to Steve Klin, the chairman of Summize. It’s a massive business, and there’s a real demand for technology that may help improve the way contracts are managed.
In the meantime, Sales Geek has launched its brand in the United States after Joe Heikkinen and Gene McCabe created master franchises in Texas and Florida, respectively. Since the company’s founding in 2017, Sales Geek has opened more than 30 locations all around the United Kingdom.
