On January 26, Rita Ora strolled into Paris Fashion Week wearing nothing but winter blue. The “Finish Line” singer showed out at the Fendi haute couture spring 2023 show wearing an odd shade of blue lipstick, taking a page out of Doja Cat’s cosmetics playbook. Ora’s lips, which were a frosty grey blue, complimented her platform go-go boots and satin coat dress with cutouts.
The icy-blue beauty look was created by makeup artist Morgane Martini. Martini also applied a thin layer of shimmering makeup to the singer’s lids to further accentuate the Tumblr-girl appearance. Lisa Laudat, Ora’s hairstylist, completed the look with a pair of cascading waves.
Ora’s shiny hair and makeup complemented her glitzy gown and made her look like an ice queen. Courtney Love, who was dressed in an identical blue satin costume from the Fendi couture line, twinned alongside Ora throughout the runway presentation.
Ora had her lips painted the same dark blue as her manicured almond-shaped nails. Following in the footsteps of famous people like Kylie Jenner, Nicola Peltz Beckham, Keke Palmer, and Jennifer Lopez, she experimented with the popular milk-bath nails in a light pink colour last year. A few months later, she flaunted a pink milky French manicure that had been squared off.
