Following a shooting on Wednesday morning at a hotel close to Portland International Airport, two people are dead.
At 2:00 a.m., according to police, shots were fired at the Embassy Suites Portland Airport Hotel. They claimed that a man and a woman were discovered dead, but it is unknown who they were.
According to a statement from the Port of Portland Police, there is currently no ongoing threat to the PDX airport or the neighborhood.
As police escorted the hotel guests out of the building, some of the guests told Portland ABC affiliate KATU that they heard close to a dozen gunshots and saw blood on the floor.
