According to the court documents, the 47-year-old son, later identified as Thomas, was sentenced to 40 years to life behind bars after for his role in the death of his 70-year-old mom Linda.
Prosecutors say the defendant pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, arson and was sentenced this week.
