The Seagate Lightsaber Collection SSDs are limited-edition variations on the company’s FireCuda PCIE Gen4 NVMe SSD drive. They offer “sequential read speeds of up to 7,300MB/s” and a five-year limited warranty, as well as three years of “Rescue Data Recovery Services” if something goes wrong with your drive.
Special Edition Lightsaber Collection FireCuda PCIE Gen4 NVMe SSDs are currently available for $185 for 1TB and $290 for 2TB. When users click the buy button, they are not required to choose which Jedi or Sith to support. Each drive comes with all three interchangeable faceplate designs, which feature Obi-Wan Kenobi’s, Darth Vader’s, and Luke Skywalker’s lightsabers. As long as the PC has a motherboard with an addressable 5V header, the colors of the LEDs and blades can be changed as needed.
