The emotional image was shared on September 18 by the royal family’s official Instagram account, @theroyalfamily, with the caption: “A new photo has been revealed ahead of Her Majesty the Queen’s burial. Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee was celebrated this year in honor of the fact that she became the first British queen to accomplish this milestone. Millions will assemble tomorrow to celebrate her extraordinary life.

In the image, the late Queen is seen celebrating her silver anniversary while beaming from ear to ear.
