Traverse City Police Officer Goes Above and Beyond to Help Local Family

Traverse City, MI — Today at 1:30 p.m., Officer Adam Verschaeve of the Traverse City Police Department demonstrated compassion and generosity when he went above and beyond his duty during a routine traffic stop.

While on patrol, Officer Verschaeve noticed a child restraint violation and conducted a traffic stop. He discovered that the driver, a single mother, had her 6-year-old daughter in the car without a car seat.
