Watch Emma Stone Break into Song at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Launch Concert

During the beginning of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour on March 17, Emma Stone was in full Swiftie mode. The actor went to the opening concert in Glendale, Arizona, and was seen having a great time all during the performance. Stone can be seen enthusiastically singing along to Swift’s 2008 single “You Belong With Me” in a now-viral TikTok video recorded by another concertgoer, channeling her “Easy A” character Olive Penderghast. Even though the video is short, Stone’s joy is evident as she yells out every line and jumps around. The caption stated, “Emma Stone loosing her gd mind about YBWM.”

Some of Swift’s other well-known acquaintances, including the Haim sisters, who starred in “Bad Blood,” were sat next to the single mother in the VIP area. Swift put on quite the spectacular performance for Stone and the more than 70,000 other fans present, playing a whopping 44 songs and going through many costume changes all night long. Songs from all ten of her studio albums were included in her set list, which ran from “Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince” to “Karma.” Since her 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour, which was commemorated with an accompanying Netflix special, Swift’s The Eras Tour is her first concert series.

For those who are unfamiliar with Swift’s close acquaintances, Stone and Swift have been close since they first met in 2008 at the Young Hollywood Awards. Swift joined Stone to the “Easy A” premiere in 2010, and the two posed for pictures together in 2011 at a number of occasions, including the Vanity Fair Oscars party, Met Gala, and Teen Choice Awards. In a 2020 interview with People, Stone was asked about her favourite Swift song, to which she replied, “That’s really, really hard because I like so many of them. That’s almost impossible, actually. . . . I really love the song ‘August’ right now. I was just listening to it earlier today.”
