While protesting the Gaza conflict, thirteen people were arrested for blocking the entry to Dallas Love Field

On Monday evening, the police detained over a dozen people who were blocking the Dallas Love Field entrance and protesting the Gaza conflict.

According to the Dallas Police Department, police responded to reports of protesters blocking traffic at the intersection of Mockingbird Lane and Herb Kelleher Way at approximately 6:20 p.m.

According to Keenan Willard of NBC 5, protesters were staged outside the airport in support of Palestine and asked President Joe Biden to pursue a ceasefire. The demonstrations were taking place outside the airport.

The police reported that they gave the protesters three warnings to leave the area, but they disobeyed. Thirteen protesters were taken into custody and charged with obstruction of a roadway or other routes as a direct consequence of the situation.

As a result of the occurrence, there were no reports of injuries being sustained.
