According to the police officials, the 38-year-old suspect, later identified as Lauren, was taken into custody and later charged with first-degree murder and cruelty to animals after she reportedly stabbed 59-year-old Tod and his pet.
Last month, deputies responded to the victim’s home after the 38-year-old woman called 911 and told the dispatcher that drugs were used in the residence before she stabbed someone.
