In order to commemorate its 25th anniversary, a Nebraska-based coffee company smashed the Guinness World Record by creating an 848-pound cake ball.
The cake ball was put up by Omaha-based Scooter’s Coffee during its annual Grow Conference at the CHI Health Center.
The Guinness World Record effort, according to officials, was made to commemorate the chain’s 25th anniversary of being founded in Bellevue.
The cake ball that resulted weighted 848 pounds, breaking the previous record of 628 pounds set in 2017 by England’s Sheffield Wednesday Football Club.
