“You” on Netflix Will Finish Following Season 5

There is no disputing that Joe Goldberg, a.k.a. Jonathan Moore, has a similar hold on “You” viewers as he does on his victims. Fans of the popular Netflix series may have escaped his charm after seeing the recently released second half of season four, but now that the fifth and final season of “You” has been confirmed, they could decide to return.

Netflix revealed on March 24 that “You” would return for a fifth season, albeit the season’s premise has not yet been revealed. One thing is for sure, though: after frightening several victims for years, Joe played by Penn Badgley will soon meet his end (and our TV screens).

“‘You’ became a Netflix phenomenon right away with a resounding cultural impact that has grown season over season,” Peter Friedlander, vice president of scripted series at Netflix, US and Canada, said in a press statement. “We’re excited — and a bit terrified — to see how it all ends for Joe Goldberg, but one thing is for sure: YOU are in for an unforgettable ending.”
In a recent interview with GQ Hype, which was released on March 14, “You” actor Badgley made a suggestion that the program would cease after a fifth season. “I am aware of what Greg [Berlanti, one of the showrunners of the series], suggested to me a few years ago as the appropriate approach to wrap things up. If there is one more, I believe it will be the grand finale “He told the media outlet.

Nonetheless, he hinted that the show’s last season will undoubtedly be explosive while saying that he’s “not sure” how he’ll feel about leaving behind the role that he’s played since 2017.

See out what else Badgley had to say about the “You” series finale while we wait for further information regarding season five.
