Everyone can all agree that smartphones are now a part of our everyday lives. Once we get into bed, it is usually the last thing we look at before falling asleep and the first thing we grab as we wake up in the morning. This story is a true account of a young girl who did so.
14-year-old daughter Le Thi Xoan’s mother entered her room one morning to wake her. After calling her multiple times she did not respond. In a state of panic, her mother immediately drove her to the emergency department.
