Hercules, a weak canine, had been imprisoned for a considerable amount of time in a foul-smelling and chilly location. In spite of the fact that he was too fragile to lift himself up, he rarely moved and stared pleading glances at his rescuers. Nevertheless, they were unable to ignore his passionate appeal for assistance. The platoon inadvertently gave him the name Hercules, which induced that, despite his pitiful reputation, he was a brave and courageous individual. He was a legionnaire who merely required their support in order to stand tall once more. They rushed him to the sanitarium, where the crackers were sure to pull out all the stops in order to nurse him back to health.
As the days passed, it became increasingly apparent that Hercules was making progress toward his recovery. Still, he suddenly lost his appetite, which was a matter for concern because it was a quick change.
